Design schools and academies will also be part of the exhibition. Belgian design school Kunsthochschule will participate showcasing works from the product design course in a collection of objects called Kesselcollection. Now in its third edition, the collection will include a selection of accessories for the home including lamps, clocks and glassware. The Faydherbe Academy - Interior and product design campus of the Thomas More University will also show work from their students and alumni with a focus on furniture.

International participants include Elisa Uberti, a ceramicist based in Paris who creates organic and minimalist vases, lamps and sculptures inspired by nomadic tribes. German Studio Philipp Beisheim will display a series of furniture pieces experimental in its use of materials and often inspired by objects re purposed in different contexts. Ebanisteria Meccanica, an italian artisanal carpentry workshop, manufacture unique wooden products that combine traditional manufacturing techniques with innovative designs.

The Floor Is Yours will take centre stage at Biennale Interieur, Kortrijk from 18 - 22 October 2018.
