Annual photography fair Paris Photo presents a wide panorama of the finest examples of photographic expression from the 19th century to the present day, from November 18th to the 21st. Discover new & established talents and enjoy a rich programme of events and encounters. Renata Poljak, the Croatian born artist presents her new work consisting of 4 parts. The booth should serve as a creative hub – not only with respect to networking but also to inspiration. The artist Sara Rahbar is working with actual materials from history, from events from history, in order to strongly, efficiently and powerfully communicate that which she wishes to communicate. She is using materials such as; coins from the shah period, buttons from soldier’s coats and jackets, army bags, flags, gun holders, emblems from Islam and Christianity, military patches, sickles and hammers. Sara Rahbar is using objects that clearly and powerfully convey the messages that she wishes to convey and tell the stories that she wishes to tell. Sara Rahbar is being featured in Robert Adanto's new documentary " PEARLS ON THE OCEAN FLOOR". The film examines the lives and works of Iranian female artists living and working in and outside the Islamic Republic.
