Der Gedanke einer „tschecho-slowakischen Ausstellung“ der zeitgenössischen Kunst in Wien entstand durch Zufall, und die nationale Streuung ist nicht das Kernelement der Ausstellung. Die einfache Abfolge monografischer Zyklen nutzt die Grundsätze von Serien und Sequenzen bei den wesentlichen Medien Malerei, Grafik, Bildhauerei, Fotografie und Videotechnik. Der Eindruck, dass es beinahe ein Museumsarchiv und seine Präsentation ist, ist ganz beabsichtigt.

The idea of the “Czecho-Slovak exhibition” of contemporary art in Vienna is unintentional and the national dispersion is not the core content of the exhibition. The simple sequence of monographic cycles uses the principles of series and sequences in the essential media of painting, drawing, sculptural objects, photography and video. Purposefully, an impression of almost a museum archive and of its presentation is created.
