Antique books are traditionally considered the most authoritative sphere of collecting. Being a monument of cultural wealth, a document of literary history and an artifact, antique book is a fundamental value, preserving cultural heritage of a nation.

For 6 years Antique Book Fair, first held by organizers of "Russian Antique Salons" in 2005, has gained popularity among "target audience" - collectors and connoisseurs of antique books. Comparing to other spheres of old art, antique books sphere is rather isolated, but despite that, it has got loyal partners and clients.

This year at CHA there are presented various monuments of Russian and foreign culture: historical works, collected works of Russian classics, art albums, unique limited editions and books hand-painted by futurists, whose works are the objects for collections in themselves. Lifetime editions of Russian classics, Russian avant-garde and science fiction books are of special attention to foreign collectors of Russian literature.

Antique Book Fair is a part of 13th International Book Fair for High-quality Fiction and Non-fiction, traditionally attracting over 30 000 visitors.
