Classic Paintings to be Exhibited in AIAA2009

Chen Yi Fei

Chen Yi Fei (1946-2005) was born in Zhenhai of Zhejiang. He graduated from the Shanghai Fine Art School in 1965. He went to the United States to attend university in 1980 and got a master degree in art in 1984. His solo exhibitions have been held in Washington, New York, Tokyo and more. His paintings were frequently auctioned in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Chen painted realistic portraits and impressionistic scenery. His portraits included musicians, women in traditional Chinese dresses and Tibetan villagers. Chen's paintings have been appraised by the New York Times as "a combination of realism and romanticism." Chen was trained in the Western techniques of classical realism. Whatever the theme and the style, the aesthetic link behind all of Chen's work is a commitment to beauty.

Zheng Yi

1961年生，哈爾濱人。1985年畢業於魯迅美術學院油畫系。曾任哈爾濱畫院副院長、哈爾濱美術家協會主席、哈爾濱文學藝術界聯合會副主席、黑龍江省美術家協會副主席、黑龍江油畫藝委會主任。現為清華大學美術學院教授、中國美術家協會會員、中國油畫學會理事、北京油畫藝委會委員、俄羅斯列賓美術學院名譽教授。

Li Yan Sheng

1943年生，祖籍廣東。現為全國政協委員、中國國家畫院藝委會副主任、國家一級美術師、中國美協中國畫藝委會委員、享受國務院頒發特殊津貼的專家。

Cui Ru Zhuo

美籍華人，著名書畫家、收藏家、鑒賞家。1944年生於北京，1981年定居美國，此前執教於北京中央工藝美術學院。

崔如琢自幼習字，書法上深受鄭誦先先生影響；繪畫上為李苦禪先生入室高足。他的作品曾多次被國家領導人當作國禮贈送給外國元首，人民大會堂、釣魚臺國賓館、故宮博物院也有收藏。
