● Heron Arts (San Francisco) will display a solo performative exhibition by artist Donald Ian McCaw. McCaw is a Canadian artist who situates his very personal autobiographical paintings in the context of a very impersonal story about a businessman seeking to reinvent the way fine art is made. McCaw plays out the story of Mba Fabrications Inc. at art fairs, where he presents outrageous business initiatives with convincing earnestness.
● Kim Foster Gallery (Denver) will feature a booth themed around tranquility, with work from artists includingWillKurtz,SusanChryslerWhite,K athleenMulcahyandChristianFaur.
● Lawrence Fine Art (New York) will showcase, Beauty Studies, which addresses conceptions of female beauty as reflected in the iconic work of photographer Howard Schatz. Schatz was named Book Photographer of the Year at the 2015 IPA International Photography Awards f or his retrospective, "Schatz Images: 25 Years," and his work has been shown at the Brooklyn Museum.
● Lucia Mendoza (Madrid) will present work from Christian Voigt that has never been shown before in the United States, in addition to brand new work from Oliver Czarnetta.
● Markowicz Fine Art will present new installation work by street artist KAI. Born in Los Angeles, KAI is recognized globally for his social commentary through his signature body of work IF, which is a character of no color, sex or race.
● Rele Gallery (Lagos) will make its first appearance at the fair, presenting a solo show by Nigerian artist Victor Ehikhamenor. Ehikhamenor is known for his traditional African motifs, religious cosmology drawings and immersive installations.
● RHODES (London) will show Triple Art Bypass, a solo exhibition by British artist Lucy Sparrow. The gallery will present an immersive installation of an operating theatre and a consulting room, made entirely from felt.
