It is with great sadness that we are informing you of our decision to postpone the Affordable Art Fair Seoul in 2017. The Affordable Art Fair has made great efforts in Seoul because we know there is a valuable art community there, which is producing exciting new art and that there is a growing interest in art ownership too. However, as any market is susceptible to economic changes and pressures, we feel that the Korean art market is not as buoyant as we originally thought. As a company we are constantly assessing our fairs and their markets to ensure we create sustainable platforms for all the galleries and artists invested in us.

At the same time, we know that our efforts in Seoul have produced some great results. Over 67% of visitors had never purchased original art before and thousands of you new to art came to our fairs – and we couldn’t be more chuffed about that! We look forward to seeing how the art scene develops in the region and we do hope to return to the city in the future.
