FINE JEWELS Auction on 24 March

Charting two hundred years of history, from the 19th to 21st century, the sale features an array of exquisite jewels, including sumptuous heirlooms from a Scottish noble family and pieces by Salvador Dalí and César, alongside the world’s most renowned designers, such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari and Boucheron.
JJ Martin who confesses a “vintage obsession” selected her favourite pieces in the sale, all very colourful and of striking designs, featuring antique diamond jewellery, Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces and lots of coloured gemstones and yellow gold. Highlights include a gem-set necklace, circa 1890 (est. £15,000 - 20,000), a turquoise cameo and diamond demi-parure, mid-19th century (est. £7,000 - 9,000), and an enamel, nephrite and diamond brooch, Paltscho, circa 1925 (est. £12,000 - 18,000).
